Tonnie Collier

Sophomore forward Tonnie Collier has been a key role in Ellsworth's 9-1 start to the season. In the past three games, Collier has scored an impressive 110 points.  Starting with their game vs. Clinton, Collier scored 30 points and tallied 6 rebounds and 2 blocks.  He scored 30 points again vs. Penn Valley along with his 8 rebounds.  Collier's finale for the week was in the Ellsworth's game vs. Labette, where he had a career high 50 points along with 9 rebounds and 8 blocked shots, which is a school record.

Women's Basketball Athlete Of The Week

Abigail Asoro

Sophomore

Iowa Western Community College

Sophomore power forward Abigail Asoro had a huge game against Cloud County to help push Iowa Western to their ninth win of the season, winning 88-75. Asoro scored 39 points in the game and also had 19 rebounds. Asoro is averaging 23.2 points and 10.3 rebounds per game on the season. Asoro has decided to continue her basketball career and has signed to play at West Virginia University next year.
