Football Offensive Athlete of the Week
Nate Criswell

Iowa Central finished out the regular season with a win against North Dakota State College of Science, 19-15, in a brutal weather matchup. 13 of the Tritons' points came from kicker Nate Criswell. Criswell was 4 for 5 on field goal attempts, with his longest one coming from 40 yards out. Criswell's only miss came from 48 yards out. Criswell is now 17 for 22 on field goal attempts and a perfect 15 for 15 on extra-point attempts this season.

Derrion Phillips

Turnovers were key in the matchup between Iowa Central and North Dakota State College of Science, with the Tritons coming out victorious. Leading the way for the Tritons' defense was sophomore cornerback Derrion Phillips, who had two interceptions, two forced fumbles, four pass break-ups, and 7 tackles. Three of the seven tackles that Phillips had were solo. Both interceptions that Phillips had led to field goals for Iowa Central, as well as one of the fumbles. On the season, Phillips has a total of 29 tackles.

Roderick Bobbitt

Indian Hills is starting off the basketball season with a bang, coming in at #2 in the NJCAA Division I polls and going 4-0 so far. Leading the way is sophomore guard Roderick Bobbitt, who had a triple-double against #13 ranked Southern Idaho last weekend. Bobbitt scored 13 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists in the game. Bobbitt averaged 30 minutes a game for the Warriors in their two games last weekend. Against Mid-Michigan, Bobbitt had 8 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 5 steals.
Women's Basketball Offensive Athlete of the Week
Jamerka Martin
Freshman
Marshalltown Community College
Marshalltown basketball is off to a 2-0 start to the season with the offensive leadership of freshman guard Jamerka Martin. Martin scored 13 points and connected on all three-point attempts in the second half to lead the Tigers to a 77-50 victory over Grand View JV. Martin is now shooting 54% from the three-point line and averaging 11 points per game this season.
Women's Basketball Defensive Athlete of the Week
Shaunte Tucker

Iowa Lakes Community College
Iowa Lakes' freshman guard Shaunte Tucker scored her first double-double last weekend against North Platte, scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds, to lead the team to their second win. Tucker was a key defensive rebounder, grabbing 7 on defense. In the Lakers game against Northeast, Tucker had 7 rebounds and 18 points. Earlier last week, Tucker had 3 rebounds, 2 steals, and 5 points for Iowa Lakes.
