Men's Soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week
Robel Yemane

Iowa Western Commmunity College
#1 Iowa Western continued its' dominance this past week with key wins in conference matchups against Iowa Central and NIACC. In the win against NIACC, sophomore midfielder Robel Yemane came back from an injury to score two goals. On the season, Yemane has a total of six goals and three assists, putting him at 15 points.

Matthieu Braem

Iowa Western Community College
Iowa Western has shut out their last fifteen opponents due to the Reivers' solid defense, led by freshman defender Matthieu Braem. Braem continues to be a leader on the nation's best defense by shutting out Iowa Central and NIACC last week. Braem also added one goal and one assist in the NIACC victory. Braem has a total of six points this season, coming from one goal and four assists.
Volleyball Athlete of the Week
Sarah Frisch

Des Moines Area Community College
Last week, DMACC won a big conference matchup against Iowa Central 3-0 with the help of sophomore middle blocker Sarah Frisch. Frisch went 7 for 16 with only two hitting errors, averaging a .312 hitting percentage. Frisch also added two service aces and two blocks. Frisch is averaging 1.52 kills per set and 1.26 blocks per set on the season to help DMACC to a 25-9 record.
Football Offensive Athlete of the Week
Nate Criswell

Iowa Central freshman place kicker Nate Criswell kicked the game-winning field goal in the third quarter against Arkansas Baptist to give the Tritons their third win this season. Criswell was 3 for 3 on extra points and was 3 for 3 on his field goals, coming from 48, 38, and 35 yards away. Criswell was also a key role on kick-offs, pinning Arkansas Baptist inside the 20-yard line twice.
Football Defensive Athlete of the Week
Daniel Henry
Sophomore
Iowa Western Community College
Iowa Western got their eighth win this season after a huge win against Ellsworth this past weekend. The defense, led by sophomore free safety Daniel Henry, only allowed the Panthers to put six points on the board. Henry had six tackles, with four of them coming solo. Henry also had 1.5 tackles for a loss, one fumble recovery, one interception, and one pass breakup in the Reivers' win.
