Football Offensive Athlete of the Week
Geronimo Allison
Sophomore
Iowa Western Community College
Iowa Western pulled off another huge win last weekend, winning 60-7, due to their resilient offense. Sophomore wide receiver Geronimo Allison led the way with 13 receptions for 159 yards in the game. Allison is now up to a total of 842 yards and eight touchdowns on the season. Allison has committed to playing football at the University of Illinois next season.

College of DuPage
The College of DuPage got their sixth win of the season last weekend to move up in the national rankings to #20 with the lead of their offense. Sophomore running back Dontrel Chance scored the lone touchdown in the game for the Chaparrals. Chance also had a total of 18 rushes for 151 yards, putting him at a total of 694 yards and four touchdowns this season.
Football Special Teams Athlete of the Week
Danny Hamilton
Freshman
Iowa Western Community College
Special Teams was a big factor also in Iowa Western's big victory of North Dakota State College of Science. Freshman kicker Danny Hamilton was perfect all day, going 6 for 6 in his extra point attempts and also 6 for 6 in his field goal attempts. Hamilton's longest on the day was from 38 yards out. Hamilton also set the school record for scoring 24 points in one game. Hamilton is leading the nation in points scored with 98, with the next closest kicker being 15 points behind.
Volleyball Offensive Athlete of the Week
Kathia Sanchez

Iowa Western Community College
Freshman setter Kathia Sanchez is a key component to Iowa Western being the #6 team in the country. In the last four matches for the Reivers, Sanchez had three double doubles, having 10 plus digs and 10 plus assists. Sanchez was a big factor in the Reivers beating three top twenty teams in one weekend, including #4 Hillsborough and #9 Miami Dade. Sanchez has a total of 171 total assists, 54 digs, 1 ace, 8 blocks, and 21 kills on the season.
Volleyball Defensive Athlete of the Week
Madison Halterman
Sophomore
Iowa Western Community College
Sophomore libero Madison Halterman was the other key player for the Reivers this last weekend, leading them to take down three top twenty teams. Halterman had a personal high 34 digs against #9 ranked Miami Dade in a five set win. Halterman also posted double digit digs in every match and passed at a 2.7 efficiency (out of 3). Halterman was perfect on serving, attempting 60 serves and not missing any. Halterman is currently ranked 5th in the nation in total number of digs.
Men's Soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week
Leo Driscoll
Sophomore
North Iowa Area Community College
Sophomore forward Leo Driscoll was a perfect three for three on shots on goal for NIACC this last weekend. Driscoll scored three goals and had two assists in a 6-0 win over Indian Hills. Driscoll also had an assist in the close win over Scott, 1-0, in NIACC's final two regular season games last week. Driscoll is up to 17 points on the season, leading the way for NIACC.
Men's Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week
Julian Pena

Marshalltown Community College
Freshman goalkeeper Julian Pena recorded five saves in a 2-0 shutout against Iowa Central last Saturday to help Marshalltown clinch the number two seed in the Region XI Tournament. The shutout was Pena's third of the year and has only allowed one goal in his last four appearances, leading the Tigers to a five game win streak. Pena has a 0.91 goals against average on the year.
