Ashley Salgado

Sophomore

Marshalltown Community College

 

Marshalltown's last four matches at the Central Nebraska Invitational were led by sophomore libero Ashley Salgado to earn her Athlete of the Week. Salgado had a total of 201 digs, averaging 14.38 per set, and five service aces. Salgado also had a career-high 78 digs against McCook and had three service aces that match. Salgado is leading the NJCAA divisions with 471 digs, averaging 13.46 per set.

Elias Hatungimana

Sophomore

Iowa Western Community College

 

Sophomore forward Elias Hatungimana scored three goals this last weekend to earn him the title of Athlete of the week. Hatungimana's three goals helped Iowa Western remain undefeated with a record of 6-0 and ranked fourth in the NJCAA polls. Hatungimana is on a four game goal-scoring streak, with a total of five goals and 12 points.
