Football Offensive Player of the Week
Trey Gilbert
Sophomore
Ellsworth Community College
Sophomore running back, Trey Gilbert, had 28 carries this past weekend to help Ellsworth win in five overtimes and to win the Offensive Player of the Week. Gilbert carried for 70 yards and three touchdowns to help the Panthers win their first game of the season.
Football Defensive Player of the Week
Devante Averette
Sophomore
Ellsworth Community College
Ellsworth sophomore linebacker, Devante Averette, had a total of 19 tackles this past weekend against Arkansas Baptist to win the Defensive Player of the Week. Averette had 13 unassisted tackles and had 8 and a half tackles for a loss. He pushed Arkansas Baptist back 26 yards alone to help the Panthers win in five overtimes.
Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
Dayvin Palmer
Sophomore
Iowa Western Community College
Sophomore forward, Dayvin Palmer, had five goals and one assist to help Iowa Western remain undefeated and to receive the Offensive Player of the Week. Palmer had three goals in the last two conference games against Marshalltown and Indian Hills and has 11 points on the season.
Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
Keaton Critchlow

Iowa Western Community College
Iowa Western sophomore defender, Keaton Critchlow, has played in every game and only allowed four goals to earn him Defensive Player of the Week. As a center defender, Critchlow has scored three goals and assisted once this season, Critchlow's defense is a key factor in Iowa Western's success of shutting out their last six opponents.
Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
Lizzy Rasmussen
Sophomore
Iowa Lakes Community College
Iowa Lakes sophomore midfielder, Lizzy Rasmussen, scored two goals against Scott this past weekend to earn her Offensive Player of the Week. Rasmussen also had three goals and three assists against Graceland on Saturday, helping the Lakers shut out both teams.
Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week
Kara Russell
Freshman
Southeastern Community College
Southeastern freshman setter, Kara Russell, put up 204 assists, along with 16 aces and 24 kills to win the Offensive Player or the Week. Along with being an offensive threat, Russell had 42 digs and five total stuff blocks to help Southeastern go 6-0 last week. Russell is leading the NJCAA in assists and serving aces this season.
Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week
Nicole Snyder
Freshman
Southeastern Community College
Freshman libero, Nicole Snyder, came up with 119 digs this past weekend to help Southeastern go 6-0 to receive Defensive Player of the Week. Snyder averaged 6.3 digs per set and is currently ranked #2 in the NJCAA in digs. Southeastern is now at 21-2 on the season.
