Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week
Mattie Gray
Freshman
Southeastern Community College
Freshman outside hitter Mattie Gray is currently #1 in the nation in kills and kills per set to earn her this week's Offensive Athlete of the Week. Gray has 165 kills and 6.1 kills per set to lead the way for Southeastern. Gray not only is a threat while hitting, but also has 12 total stuff blocks and 9 serving aces to help her team to an 8-1 record to start off the season.

Ashley Salgado
Sophomore
Marshalltown Community College
Sophomore libero Ashley Salgado is currently ranked first in the NJCAA Division II for digs per set to earn her the title of this week's Defensive Athlete of the Week. Salgado is averaging 14.37 digs per set and has a total of 273 digs. In Salgado's past two matches she had 114 digs and had two service aces to help Marshalltown start off 3-2.
Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

Iowa Central Community College
Sophomore forward Abelson Estimable scored five goals this past weekend to earn himself the title of Offensive Athlete of the Week. Estimable led the way for Iowa Central, adding an assist in the two wins that the Tritons had this weekend. Iowa Central is 2-1 to start off the season.
Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
Will Lukowski

Iowa Western Community College
Sophomore goalkeeper Will Lukowski has won three games in a row to earn him the title of Defensive Athlete of the Week. Lukowksi had a game-saving penalty kick verses Laramie this past weekend, as well 9 total saves, to help Iowa Western start the season 4-0. Lukowksi also had a shutout this past weekend to help Iowa Western remain undefeated.
Midwest Football Conference Player of the Week
Lamont Osborn

North Dakota State College of Science
North Dakota State College of Science debuted their season with a 32-16 victory over Ellsworth. Lamont Osborn, a sophomore running back, was the main force behind the Wildcat offensive attach. Osborn gained 171 yards on just 15 carries, scoring twice. He also managed to get 3 tackles with his special teams duties.
Midwest Football Conference Defensive Player of the Week
DeMarksu Carey
Sophomore
Ellsworth Community College
DeMarkus Carey had a career game this past week against North Dakota State College of Science. The sophomore defensive back had 9 total tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 2 pass breakups, and 2 interceptions. Carey returned one of the interceptions 56 yards for a touchdown. If all that wasn't enough, he blocked 3 extra point attempts. Carey is well on his way to have consecutive MFC All-Conference seasons.
