Southwestern Community College (SWCC) Head Coach Rita Schroeder hit a huge milestone at the conclusion of the Spartans’ home volleyball match-up against Clinton Community College on Wednesday night. The Spartans’ victory over the Cougars put Schroeder’s coaching record at 700 wins.

Ellsworth CC has hired Matt Egger as their new Head Softball Coach. Egger is a native of Webster City and graduate of Cornell College where he majored in sociology and physical education, Coach Egger brings a passion for sports and experience to the field. He was a three-sport player in high school and college and has over five years coaching experience. He and his wife Theresa live in Webster City with their three children: Chelsea, a high school freshman; Reis, 3; and Alek, 2.
