NIACC only entered three runners so were not eligible for the team title.
Also running for NIACC Friday were Oryiane Espeut (39th in 30:22) and Jean Saintil (61st in 33:01).
For the NIACC women, who entered three runners, Kalama Towarup led the way with a 37th place finish in 24:22 in the 5-kilometer race. Also, Leta Jaquis was 49th (26;01) and BrandiAnne Daub was 57th (27:58).
Drake University junior Krista Maguire won the race (19:41).
