2025 ICCAC Fall Preview | Men's Cross Country
ICCAC Men's Cross Country is shaping up to be an entertaining and exciting season with a strong field of teams in 2025.
In Division I, Iowa Central was picked in the preseason ICCAC coaches poll to finish first after having a solid season last year that resulted in a top 20 finish at the National Championship. Iowa Western follows the Tritons in the poll after coming off an extremely successful year with a region title and runner-up finish at the National Championship. They will look to do it again in 2025. Last but not least in Division I, Indian Hills gears up for a season of excitement as they have a strong group of runners prepared for the season.
In Division II, the DMACC dominated last season and was rewarded with the top spot in the preseason ICCAC coaches poll. Behind the Bears are the Trojans, who placed fourth last year but were picked as second in the polls with a team that will look different than the team in 2024. Southeastern and Southwestern tied in the poll for third place. Last year, Southeastern placed second in the region with Southwestern third. Both teams look talented and ready to challenge for the top spot in the standings.
Rounding out the Division II teams are Hawkeye and Scott. The RedTails are at the start of a new era with a new coach, and the Eagles enter year two under their coach with a larger roster ready to put in some team performances.
