Geoghegan lost in the championship match 3-2 to Justin Cash from Rend Lake. The 3-2 loss was Geoghegan's only loss of the season to a junior college opponent. Geoghegan opened his tournament run with a bye in the first round and an 11-2 win in the second round. He began Saturday's action with a 3-1 win over Scott Verner of Western Wyoming 3-1.
Geoghegan's brother, Dillon, finished third at 165 with a 7-2 win over Kris Schimek of Niagara. He scored four consecutive victories after a loss in the quarterfinals. He went 6-1 on the weekend.
Christopher Ballard rallied for a fourth place finish at 285. Ballard lost in the opening round on Friday and didn't lose again until the third place match on Saturday.
Brandon Bradney (197) entered Saturday's action undefeated and still in contention for a national title, but went home with the sixth place finish. He opened his day by getting pinned by Josh DaSiveira of Ellsworth and lost his final two matches of the tournament.
Tristan Bundy finished eighth at 125 after a pair of losses Sunday.
Five of Iowa Central's nine qualifiers earned All-America status with top-8 finishes on the weekend.
Tyler Reiste went 1-2 on Friday and was eliminated in the 133 weight class. Stephen Mincey (141), Kenan Jackson (174) and Cody Harrison (184) each went 0-2 on Friday.
North Idaho and defending champion Labette each scored 120 team points to tie for the team title. Clackamas was third with 97.5 and Nassau was fourth with 95 points.
