Minto's lone loss was to Waldorf College's Anthony Pike (9-2) at the Kaye Young Invitational in Mason City on Nov. 3.
Minto, who was fifth at the NJCAA meet as a freshman, has won titles at the Simpson College Invitational and Coe College Invitational this season.
"He wrestled real well at the Simpson Invite," NIACC coach Steve Kelly said, "but really hasn't opened up in matches yet.
"He needs to start scoring more points in his matches."
In the team rankings, North Idaho College is No. 1. Iowa Western is No. 4, Ellsworth is No. 10, Iowa Central is No. 11 and Iowa Lakes is No. 17. NIACC received votes in the national poll.
NIACC returns to action Jan. 5 at the William Penn Invitational. The Trojans open their dual season Jan. 15 at Ellsworth.
